1939 Indian 4 Cylinder Great Year Beautiful Restoration

     The 1939 4-Cylinder Indian is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful, and one of the most collectible motorcycles of all time.

     This Indian is finished in the original Cream & White Indian colors, and the pinstripes are hand-painted just as they were at the factory. The finishing work is far better than when the motorcycle was new, yet this bike does not have that "over-restored" look.

1939 was the only year that the beautiful Indian Head logo appeared in color on the gas tank, so take a close look at the picture below.

     1939 models are particularly sought after as they are the last year these motorcycles were manufactured with open fenders, and they are also the last year that they were manufactured with “hard-tails”.
